“Philosophy for Children” Aids Student Math and Reading Levels

Could philosophy-based discussions led by students be the key to improved math and reading levels. A year-long trial within UK primary schools suggests that this may be the case.

    Tina thanks for the article. I have shared this with the administrators at my school. we are always looking for something new and fresh to try with our students. We also like the idea that the student's have an opportunity to lead the discussion. Awesome. I am sure this will be one of our highlights especially with our 3rd-45th Grade AVID classes.
